Hampton Bays is located in Belgium and therefore follows Belgian legislation on cookies.

2. Purpose and usefulness of cookies

Hampton Bays wants to inform every visitor to the platform/website as well as possible about his rights under Belgian legislation on cookies, and about which cookies Hampton Bays uses. By using the platform/website, the visitor agrees to the use of cookies. 4. Management of cookies

Make sure cookies are enabled in your browser. To enable cookies, the following actions must be performed:

At browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer

  • In Internet Explorer, click 'Internet Options' in the 'Tools' menu.
  • On the 'Privacy' tab, move the settings slider to 'low' or 'accept all cookies' (setting above 'medium' disables cookies).
  • Click 'OK'.

At browser - Mozilla Firefox

  • Click 'Firefox' in the top left corner of your browser, then click 'Options'.
  • Under the 'Privacy' tab, make sure the 'Tell websites I don't want to be tracked' is not checked.
  • Click 'OK'.

By browser - Google Chrome

  • Click the three dots next to the browser bar at the top of your browser window and choose 'Options'.
  • Find the 'Privacy and security' section and click on 'content settings'.
  • Click on the 'cookies' option.
  • Now select 'Allow sites to save and read cookie data'.

In browser - Safari

  • Choose 'Preferences' from the task menu. (The task menu is located at the top right of the Safari window and looks like a gear, or click "Safari" in the extended task menu.)
  • Click on the Privacy tab. Find the section called 'Cookies and other website data'
  • Indicate that you accept cookies.

If you want to consult the Hampton Bays platform/website, it is recommended that you have cookies enabled. However, if you prefer not to do this, you as a visitor are free to disable cookies via your browser settings. This can be done in the following ways:

  • Select the 'Advanced' option at the bottom of the page.
  • Under 'Privacy & security', select 'Content settings'.
  • Select 'Cookies'.
  • Disable 'Allow sites to store and read cookie data'.

In browser - Safari

  • Choose 'Preferences' from the task menu. (The task menu is located at the top right of the Safari window and looks like a gear, or click "Safari" in the extended task menu.)
  • Click on the Privacy tab. Find the section called 'Cookies and other website data'
  • Indicate that you do not accept cookies.

5. Rights of visitors

Since cookies can involve the processing of personal data, you as a data subject have the right to the lawful and secure processing of the personal data. As a data subject you can exercise the following rights:

  • Right to object: If there are compelling and justified reasons, you can object to the processing of personal data.
  • Right of access: Every data subject who proves his identity has a right of access to information regarding the existence or otherwise of processing of his personal data, as well as the purposes of this processing, the categories of data to which this processing relates and the categories of recipients to whom the data is provided.
  • Right to correction: Inaccurate or incomplete personal data can always be corrected or even deleted at the request of the data subject.
